Paid health insurance. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance after just 30 days of employment. Advance covers 95% of an employee’s health insurance cost and and a large percentage of spouse and family coverage.
Paid vacations. Employees are eligible for one week of paid vacation after six months of employment. Starting with their second year of employment, employees are eligible for two weeks of paid vacation.
Paid holidays. Employees are eligible for six paid holidays after 30 days of employment.
Paid personal days. Employees earn a paid personal day for every two years of service, up to five paid personal days.
Paid sick days. Salaried employees are eligible for up to four paid sick days per year.
Paid training. In addition to on the job training, all employees are eligible for paid off-site training.
Profit sharing bonus. Advance believes strongly in sharing its blessings with its people. Each year at the annual Christmas party, employees receive a Christmas bonus.
Incentive bonuses. On a regular basis, Advance distributes bonuses to eligible employees company-wide for reaching quality, sales, savings and/or safety goals.
Anniversary bonus. Employees who reach a 10-year milestone with Advance receive a $1,000 bonus.
401k. Advance offers a 401k retirement plan for full-time Advance employees with an unlimited 25% match of all contributions that employees make to their retirement savings.

What else you might like to know about us:
Employment. We are the largest job shop machine shop in central Ohio. We employ about 40 great people. Hourly personnel are scheduled for three shifts in Grove City.
Work shifts. Production runs on first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Second shift runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday through Friday. Third shift runs from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday. Overtime is usually available.
Locations. Our headquarters in located on Harrisburg Pike in Grove City. We also have a satellite office and shop in West Chester, Ohio (suburb of Cincinnati).
Equipment. We invest in high quality, high performance equipment. Our 4-axis horizontal CNC machining centers are made by Makino, Matsuura and Okuma – three of the most respected names in the industry. Almost all of these machines are newer than 2010.
Our 5-axis CNC mills are made by DMG Mori. Our Swiss machines are made by DMG Mori and have up to 11-axis capability. Our CNC lathes can turn up to 10 feet in length.
Inspection Equipment. In addition to hand-held measuring instruments, Advance has three CMMs (two are portable) and four vision measuring systems including laser scanning.
Magazine Features. Advance has been featured on the covers of Modern Machine Shop and Production Machining magazines.
Inc 5000. In 2014, Advance was listed as one of America’s fastest growing private companies.
ISO 9001:2008. In 2015, Advance achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification.
